The concentrate forms when cannabis extract undergoes controlled whipping or agitation during post-processing. Pulverizing the extract results in the smooth, whipped consistency that distinguishes batter from other concentrates such as shatter or sugar.

How Cannabis Batter Is Produced

The production of cannabis batter begins with extraction. Our lab extracts high grade cannabis flower using advanced hydrocarbon extraction techniques that separate cannabinoids and terpene compounds from the plant material.

Once the extract has been produced and purged, the concentrate undergoes one of a few different processes we use.

  1. Once the extract leaves the closed loop extraction machine, it goes through careful purging techniques to preserve terpenes while removing the solvent to make the oil safe to consume. Afterwards, we mechanically separate the cannabinoids from the terpenes. From there, we custom formulate the batter to the customers desired consistency depending on how dry or wet they want it by reintroducing the cannabinoids and terpenes by blending them in an oxygen free environment to prevent oxidation.

  2. The other method we use is to take freshly purged sugar, and directly blend it under oxygen free conditions to prevent oxidation.
